Folding technology has long been utilized in Europe as a complement to conventional press brake forming. Over the past 10 years folding has been gaining acceptance in the US market. It is ideal for large panels, doors and boxes due to the fact that only the flange being formed moves while the rest of the part lies flat on the back gauge. Fasti builds folding machines in lengths from 6' to 12' in capacities up to 1/2" mild steel.
